Methodology
CasinoMass is a research-first database. Every record is verified by a human researcher before being published to the portal.
Data collection
Our research team monitors operator websites, affiliate programs, and licencing authority public registers on a regular import cycle. Data is collected from primary sources wherever possible — directly from the operator or regulator — rather than aggregated from secondary databases.
Verification process
Each import cycle runs through three stages:
- Automated ingestion — raw data from sources is normalised into a structured format and flagged for review if values change significantly from the previous record
- Human verification — a researcher checks each flagged change against the primary source and resolves ambiguities
- Publication — verified records are merged into the live database and stamped with a
lastVerifiedAttimestamp
Records that fail verification are held back until the discrepancy is resolved. We do not publish uncertain data.
Field coverage
Not all fields are available for all casinos. Coverage varies by operator transparency and jurisdictional disclosure requirements. Fields with no verified value are left blank rather than filled with estimates.
Premium fields — deposit/withdrawal methods, restricted countries, affiliate contacts, and min deposits — are verified with a higher degree of scrutiny since they are more frequently used in compliance-sensitive research.
Update cadence
The database is updated on a recurring import cycle. The lastImportedAt timestamp on each record shows when it was last touched by the import process. The lastVerifiedAt timestamp shows when a human researcher last confirmed the data.
Corrections
If you find a field that appears incorrect or outdated, you can submit a correction request from any casino or slot detail page. Our research team reviews corrections within one business day.
For priority updates, the On-demand data update add-on guarantees a reviewed and published correction within 24 business hours.
What we do not include
- Consumer-facing reviews, star ratings, or editorial opinions
- Bonus offers or promotional terms (these change too frequently to maintain accurately)
- Player complaint data or reputation scores
CasinoMass is a data infrastructure tool for B2B research, not a player-facing review site.
