Glossary
iGaming terminology used throughout the CasinoMass portal and data exports.
A
Affiliate program — a commercial arrangement between an operator and a marketing partner (affiliate) where the affiliate receives commission for referred players. CasinoMass records the affiliate program name, URL, and manager contact where available.
Affiliate manager — the operator contact responsible for managing affiliate relationships. A premium field, available on Solo and Max plans.
C
Casino brand — a distinct gambling website or app operated under a specific domain. One legal entity may operate multiple brands.
Closed — a casino that is no longer accepting new registrations or deposits. CasinoMass retains closed casinos in the database as a historical record.
Currency — fiat or cryptocurrency accepted by the operator for deposits and withdrawals. Multi-value field; a casino may accept dozens of currencies.
D
Deposit method — a payment instrument accepted for deposits (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Bitcoin). Distinct from withdrawal methods, which may differ. A premium field.
G
Game type — the category of gambling product offered: slots, live casino, table games, sports betting, virtual sports, etc.
L
Licence / License — a regulatory authorisation issued to an operator by a gambling authority. Casinos often hold multiple licences for different jurisdictions. Common licencing bodies include MGA (Malta), UKGC (United Kingdom), KGC (Curaçao), and DGOJ (Spain).
Live chat — whether the operator offers real-time customer support via in-browser chat. A premium field.
M
Min deposit — the minimum deposit amount accepted by the operator, expressed per currency. CasinoMass stores per-currency minima (e.g. €10, $10, £10) rather than a single flattened figure. A premium field.
O
Owner — the legal entity or holding company that operates the casino brand. A premium field.
P
Paylines — the number of winning line combinations in a slot game. Higher payline counts generally increase hit frequency. Recorded as an integer.
Payout — the operator's published or estimated return-to-player percentage across all games. Distinct from RTP, which applies to individual slots.
Provider — a software developer that supplies slot and game content to operators. CasinoMass tracks 500+ providers with associated slot catalogs.
R
Region — the primary geographic market the casino targets. Used for filtering and research scoping.
Restricted countries — jurisdictions where the operator explicitly prohibits player registrations. A premium field, important for compliance research.
RTP (Return to Player) — the theoretical percentage of wagered money a slot pays back to players over a long run. Expressed as a percentage (e.g. 96.5%). A premium field on the slot catalog.
S
Slug — the URL-safe identifier used in the portal URL for each entity, e.g. /casinos/bet365 or /slots/book-of-dead.
Soft delete — CasinoMass never permanently removes records. Deleted entities are marked with a deletedAt timestamp and excluded from default catalog views, but remain in the database for historical lookups.
T
Target market — the geographic markets an operator actively markets to. Distinct from restricted countries. A premium field.
V
VIP program — whether the operator offers a loyalty or VIP rewards program. A premium field.
